Offensive Style

The offensive style of grunt will always think offence first, slow on the back check but a force to be reckoned with on offence. These are the grunts that a player who want to score a lot and cause as much chaos as possible will choose.


Power Hitter

The power hitter is a larger than normal grunt who specializes in hard shots and hard hits. Lovers of chaos and mayhem, they are great fighters who can help turn the tables of a game with a well-timed hit.

Playmaker

The playmaker is a smaller sized grunt that specializes in speed and puck skills. With the ability to visualize the game like no other, they are able to dissect a team’s defence with their blazing speed and creativity.

Defensive Style

The defensive style of grunt will always think defense first, guarding the net is their primary job. However if the opportunity presents itself, they will not hesitate to jump into an offensive rush. These are the grunts that a player who wants to play shut down hockey and will stop at nothing to stifle the opposing team’s offense.


Offensive Defenceman

The offensive defenceman is an average sized grunt who specializes in playmaking and defence. Part of the new age of hockey, they are able to play sound defence while being able to jump into a play in the offensive end. A true crowd pleaser.

Stay at Home Defenceman

They are a towering defenceman that specializes in defence and physicality. A traditional hockey player, they are able to clear the puck out of the zone as quickly as it came in, and will stand up for any player. A goalies best friend.

Balanced Style

The balanced style of grunt will think of the best play at the right moment, never over  committing, they are the ultimate two way players. If the opportunity presents itself, they will not hesitate to jump into an offensive rush. However, they will make sure that the defensive end is always covered before joining a rush. These are the grunts that a player who wants to play solid two way hockey and wants to have a balanced offense and defence.


Two Way Forward

The 2 way forward is an average sized grunt that is extremely balanced. While offensively minded, they are still defensively responsible. They do whatever they can to help the team win. A true team player.

This defenceman is an average sized grunt that is extremely balanced. While defensively minded, they will try to jump into offensive plays. Not a flashy player but just as important. An analytical nightmare but a teammates best friend.
