Each character will have their stats broken down into 5 categories that will each have 3 subcategories. Each stat will have a ranking from 1 star to 5 stars. The 5 main categories are Shooting, Skating, Puck Skills, Defence, and Physical. The subcategories are Accuracy, Power, preference to Wrist Shots or Slap Shots, Speed, Agility, Endurance, Deking, Passing, Control, Blocking, Stick Lift, Poke Check, Checking, Fighting, and Strength. Each Captain will have 20 points spread throughout all 5 stats, while each Teammate will have a total of 15 points spread throughout all 5 stats.
Each core skill is broken down into three characteristics.
Shooting is broken down into Accuracy, Power, and a slider that shows the characters preference to slap shots or wrist shots.
Skating is broken down into Speed, Agility, and Endurance.
Puck Skills is broken down into Deking, Passing, and Control.
Defence is broken down into Blocking, Stick Lift, and Poke Check.
Physical is broken down into Checking, Fighting, and Strength.
This value determines how many open points the player will shoot at in the goal. This value and the power value will determine the likelihood of scoring a goal.
This value determines how fast the puck will be shot. This value plus the accuracy value will determine the likelihood of a goal.
This stat is based off a slider, the slider determines what type of shot the character prefers, wrist shot or slap shot.
This stat will determine the characters max speed.
This stat determines how difficult it is for opposing players to connect with a big check
This stat determines how quickly the player’s stamina bar will recharge
The higher this stat the harder it is for an opposing player to steal the puck when deking.
The higher this stat the harder it is for opposing players to intercept a pass
This stat determines how difficult it is for opposing players to successfully stick lift or poke check
This stat determines how successful a character will be at blocking a shot, the lower it is the less likely the shot will be blocked.
If this stat is higher than an opposing players control stat, the character will have a higher chance of success at stick lifting an opponent.
If this stat is higher than an opposing players control stat, the character will have a higher chance of success at poke checking an opponent.
If this stat is higher than an opposing player’s agility stat, the character will have a higher chance of success at checking an opponent.
This stat determines how good of a fighter the player is, the higher this stat, the less buttons need to be hit in a fight.
This stat determines how much “health” you have in a fight (how many times the button needs to be mashed), also determines how long you stay on the ice after being “big” hit.
